About us

CyberSelect Ltd is an independent, highly professional UK company, based in the centre of Norwich, dedicated to turning your HiFi audio, video and home automation ideas into reality. We are a custom installation company that does everything but the actual installation itself. We design, specify, supply and support the custom install process, but you as the home owner supply the installer, be it your electrician or a custom installer or yourself!

Because we deal with multiple projects and custom installers on site on a daily basis, we are constantly developing new strategies to incorporate the latest technology into our projects. However, note that as standard we will not specify equipment that requires a level of specialist training on the product; for example we do not supply equipment that requires programming or expensive specialist tools.

Typical projects include anything from TV distribution around the home, including multiple Sky HD and freesat boxes, through home cinema room projects complete with projectors, automated screens, surround sound systems, electric black-out blinds and lighting, to multi-room audio and high definition video distribution throughout your whole house.

You can either buy the individual components, with our assistance where necessary, and put your own system together, or work on a more formalised basis where we work with you through the process, for example:

• We discuss with you your ideas and what you would like to achieve in your home or your client's home. Ideally we would like to see a copy of the plans of your home or at least a sketch of the layout if it is a whole house project. We do not make site visits.
• We prepare for you a proposal developing these ideas into a detailed costed-out equipment list with commentary on how your requirements can be realised. We do not charge for this service.
• The proposals are developed and refined in conjunction with yourself taking into account your specification modifications or budgetary restrictions.
• We supply the equipment specified together with any wiring schematics necessary to assist you or your nominated custom installer or electrician to undertake the installation.
• We will provide telephone support (during office hours) to help you or your installer complete the project and achieve the desired end result.

If you would like to come and discuss your plans please drop into our Norwich showroom, (address below) any weekday from 9.00am to 4.45pm. We are not open on Saturdays as a rule, but we are willing to open for you by appointment if mutually convenient. If you are coming a long distance during the week, please just give us a call first.

To assist you in the decision process we have a demonstration of 3D home cinema with a projector and electric screen, media streaming systems including Sonos wireless multiroom, two 5.1 surround sound systems, multi-room audio, iPod and iPad audio streaming and control systems, electric curtains, roller blinds and Roman blinds.

For comparative listening we have a "sound wall" with 9 sets of ceiling speakers, plus wall, micro and garden speakers. The same music can be played through all speakers to ensure a true comparison.
