The Gefen Super Booster is an attractive alternative to the use of HDMI baluns for sending HDMI signals over intermediate distances. It enables you
to use your standard, “off the shelf” HDMI cable to transmit superb HDTV visuals plus multichannel digital audio in a single cable way beyond the limited HDMI
specification of normal cables.
Using the tiny Gefen HDMI Super Booster you can send HDMI digital audio and video up to 60 metres. The HDMI Super Booster works by correcting any digital
degradation that occurs when HDMI is used to send AV signals beyond the specified distance.
How it works
This 'plug and play' installation takes mere seconds. You simply connect the HDMI cable on one side of the HDMI Super Booster and the display’s cable on the
other side. The Gefen HDMI Super Booster sits between the end of your HDMI cable and your display. Because
it replicates digital video signals,you also have the option of connecting another HDMI cable
to the Super Booster, daisy chaining Boosters and cables for greater distances.
NB: The last Gefen Super Booster in the chain should be no more than 5 metres from the display device.
