The Marantz NR1402 nicely fits with the Marantz Blu-ray players as it has decoders for standard resolution and high definition audio like DTS-HD and
Dolby TrueHD built-in. Connect your SkyHD or Freesat HD box, your DVD, game console or your camcorder and with an HDMI 1.4a cable the NR1402
will output surround sound including from your SkyHD or Freesat HD box on movies when broadcast in Dolby 5.1.
The Marantz NR1402 can also receive music transmitted from your iPhone, Android and other Bluetooth enabled smart phones by virtue of its M-XPort,
which allows you to connect the optional RX101 Bluetooth wireless receiver.
