The Sonos® ZoneBridge™ (BR100) makes setting up your wireless Sonos system wonderfully fast and easy. Just connect a ZoneBridge to your broadband router to instantly
activate SonosNet™, the Sonos secure wireless mesh network. Now all your Sonos ZonePlayers
and Controllers will work wirelessly and can be placed anywhere in your house.
Although the Sonos BR100 ZoneBridge doesn’t play music like the Sonos ZonePlayer, it’s incredibly cost effective when it comes to extending the range
of your Sonos system and expanding the Controller’s wireless coverage. Plus, it’s great for connecting other products to the Internet.
With the Sonos ZoneBridge you can stream music to a remote location by placing a ZoneBridge in between a ZonePlayer in a remote location
and the rest of the Sonos system.
Alternatively you can locate all of the Sonos ZonePlayers in a single central location, with speaker cable running to in-ceiling speakers, and just have
one ZoneBridge located in each remote room with the speakers. This minimizes the equipment in the room. If you have a LAN the ZoneBridge can, of course,
be connected via your hard wired ethernet to the centrally located ZonePlayers, ensuring that even where the distance is beyond wireless range, the audio can
be distributed.

To avoid having the Sonos Zonebridge on view in rooms requiring it, locate it in the ceiling cavity (next to a ceiling speaker) and power it over the Cat5e cable.
For this you will need the Solwise Pheenet NET-POE-5V power over ethernet kit shown here.
The Sonos ZoneBridge can also be used to connect a set-top box, PVR, PC, games console or
NAS drive to the Interent.
