cleverCX M Lite

This cleverCX M Lite is based on the all new range of Clever Technologies cleverCX 500 but has the TV tuner removed and then been upgraded to provide it with 3 independant audio streams. This makes it ideal as a dedicated music server that can be linked to a multiroom controller for whole house audio.

The cleverCX M Lite is a low powered, virtually silent device which would usually be installed in a central distribution cabinet to provide independent access to its stored music library either on the hard disc or on a separate Network Attatched Storage (NAS) drive.

Network Control

The cleverCX M Lite includes Autonomic Home’s Media Control Server pre-installed which enables integration for music control with leading automation and control solutions, over the network, from AMX, Creston, clever technologies and HAI. A single Clever Media Control (CMC) server client licence is included as part of the package

The Clever Technologies Clever Media Control (CMC) system uses wireless tablets (UPMCs) such as the Samsung Q1, to control the multiroom audio solution. It uses Global Cache GC100 IP network interfaces to control multiroom amplifiers from either NuVo or Russound, eg CAS44 or CAA66, and allows the 3 separate music streams to be selected from the cleverCX M Lite Media Center server to be played into separate rooms around your home.

The CMC client software has been optimised as a touchscreen application, making it ideal for installation on the latest generation of ultra-mobile PCs (UMPCs) or tablet PCs such as the Samsung Q1 shown below, and it can also be installed on any Windows XP PC for maximum flexibility.
