The Russound Russound ST tuner is a high performance dual AM/FM tuner specifically
designed for a wide variety of multi-room applications. The ST2 can be integrated into virtually
any RS232 controlled application, including Crestron or AMX systems.
The ST2 tuner has been designed for working with the Russound CAV6.6
multi-room system and its Uno display keypads, however, the CAV6.6 is not really a
DIY install like the A-BUS or even the
CAi series since it does require programming of the keypads.
However, the ST2 does offer a neat solution to
situations where you would like to have two radios available on your multi-room
audio system.
Each tuner has its own direct IR input, allowing full remote control using the IR relay
system built into the A-BUS and the
Russound CAA66. The ST2 comes with its own dedicated dual tuner remote control.
Each tuner has 6 banks of 6 presets, ie 72 total presets. Both presets and banks can have custom names.
If you want more than 2 radio sources just add more ST2 tuners. Since they are one unit
high each tuner does not significantly add to the height of your racked sources.
For improved keypad control of the ST-2 tuner Russound have their ST-2KP dedicated keypad.
This optional Smart Tuner keypad allows you to view station feedback as well as the ability to select your favorite pre-set stations.
The elegant ST2-KP has been specifically designed to be used with the ST2 in conjunction with non R-Net systems such as the
CAS44, CAS66,
A-Bus and other multiroom systems.
The ST-2KP can be integrated into a multi-gang plate with other Decora® modules, or mounted individually.
NB: The ST-2KP requires an additional Cat 5e cable run.
New Touchscreen option
The new Uno-TS2 touchscreen from Russound is designed to work with all of the Russound RNET devices. It offers both
touch sensitive screen buttons and hard buttons for those commands most often used.
