The NuVo WA30 in-wall amplifier is a high quality 30 watts per channel stereo audio amplifier that is
built into a standard sized UK single gang back box. It has a volume control knob on the front for simple control.
The Nuvo WA30 has two hard-wired stereo source inputs on the rear of the unit and two over-riding mini
stereo source inputs on the front. The hard-wired rear inputs enable long-term connections of source units like DVD players, VCRs and computers,
while the front mini stereo inputs enable easy on-the-fly connection of portable devices like iPods, MP3 players and laptop computers.
For hard wiring inputs such as TV to the rear use twin screened audio cable.
Terminate this on the left/right/ground screw down connections on the rear of the WA30. At the input end if you are connecting to a
wall outlet use either the QED WM05 wall outlet for a single input
or QED WM07 for a twin input and solder to the connectors, or use
the Apex 2 x 3.5mm module.
The NuVo WA30's intuitive on-wall controls make it easy for the casual user to control source selection, power and volume.
The NuVo WA30 in wall amplifier is ideal for single room solutions with an input source such as an
iPod dock. By connecting the iPod dock directly to the rear of the
in-wall amplifier, you can create a very neat solution, whilst still giving the freedom to plug a laptop into the front. Wire the audio
output to a pair of in-ceiling speakers (4 or 8 Ohms) to complete the package.
The technology behind the WA30 is proven and tested. NuVo has already sold 1,000 WA30 units in the UK into schools, colleges and hotels.
