The Gefen HDMI Over Coaxial Sender and Receiver units send a pristine-quality HDMI signal over PF100, CT100 or or even RG-6 coaxial cable at a distance
of up to 300m.
The Gefen HDMI Over Coaxial is ideal for legacy installations where coaxial cable is already in place, because it means these devices can breathe new life into
remote video extensions where re-wiring would be difficult and/or expensive.
The Gefen wireless HDMI system allows you to connect up to two HDMI sources and one component video source to the transmitter, and switch between these sources
on the receiver, thereby removing the need for a separate HDMI switcher in the equipment chain. Audio output from the receiver can be either digital on the
HDMI connection or analogue stereo via the standard RCA phono outputs.
All IR signals are transmitted from the receiver back to the transmitter for total control of source equipment via an IR emitter.
The Gefen Wireless HDMI Extender features a performance unimpeded by line-of-sight operations, and source signals are capable of transmitting through walls to accommodate multiple room
installations. Wireless transmission speeds are achieved up to 480 Mbps, supporting even the most stringent demands of high-definition video.
How it works
Connect your video sources into the Gefen HDMI Over Coaxial Sender. The sending end of the coaxial cable extension screws into the Sender unit. The terminal
end of the extended coaxial cable screws into the Gefen HDMI Over Coaxial Receiver. An HD Display connects to the Gefen HDMI Over Coaxial Receiver with an
HDMI cable. Power is applied to both Gefen HDMI Over Coax transceivers and pristine-quality 1080p HD video with multichannel digital audio is experienced in
full splendor without data loss or noise.
Note: This device will work with passive splitters.
