Your whole movie library at your fingertips using cleverCX MCE clients

Use the cleverMediaServer with multiple cleverCX clients to stream uncompressed DVD or Blu-ray movies, providing they have been saved with the appropriate software* (*not supplied). The cleverCXs can be located in the rooms with the TVs or through centrally located using long HDMI cables or HDMI over Cat5e/6 cable baluns to distribute to the screens.

Want to add Music CD’s, DVD’s or Blu Ray movie’s to your online collection? Simply pop the disc into the CMS’ optical drive, wait a few minutes and when it pops out, open the library on any of your cleverCX’s and it’ll be ready to play*. Want to watch a TV program you recorded in the living room on your Bedroom TV? Again, no problem any program recorded on a cleverCX can be automatically archived to your CMS ready to be viewed anywhere where there’s a cleverCX or any other clever media centre.

Home network use for CMS

It’s not all about media storage either. cleverMediaServer adds other significant benefits to the home network. It will report on the health of your network connected computers, create automated backup schedules for any PC, media centre or laptop under its control, provides the perfect platform for deploying applications which need to run 24/7 and provide access to your data when you’re away from home.

The CMS is available with 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 Terrabytes of internal storage and can be expended using external USB, Firewire or e-SATA disks. Even greater expansion can be achieved through the CMS storage expansion module, an external disk array offering up to a further 16 Terrabytes of capacity.
