HNS wall mounted speaker sockets for 4mm 'banana' plugs are available as
single pair or twin pair. Each speaker has a twin core cable going to it from the
amplifier. The speaker cable is terminated by a pair of 4mm banana plugs;
one of the cores is terminated by a red banana plug, one by a white banana plug.
This HNS twin pair of speaker sockets in a polished steel rounded edge frame is ideal for use with a single stereo speaker or for where you have both the left and right
speakers running from a single back box in a stereo set-up.
The connection for the cable to the rear of the sockets is a screw connection - NOT solder, for which you will need a very small screwdriver. This connection
is suitable for speaker cable up to 15 AWG. For larger gauge speaker
cable use the Leviton 4mm speaker outlets.
