A pair of these QED termination outlets allows you to locate your multi-room amplifier away from your main HiFi system, eg in a cupboard when your equipment is in the living room.
It is ideal for the QED MusiQ IS system.
The plate has an IN and OUT set of phono sockets for left and right channels of two sources. This allows you to feed the audio sources to the multiroom amp, whilst still sending it to
the main room amplifier. It also has 3.5mm jack sockets for IR control, allowing the IR signals to be relayed back to the equipment.
For the IR signals run Category 5e cable between the rear screw down connections on the two plates. To send the audio (at line level), you require two runs of quad core audio cable,
such as RS Components 367 577, or similar.
