New technologies such as digital television can sometimes create special problems for
current video distribution systems. The new DA-8200HHR from Channel Plus, is designed from the
start with the highest headroom available in a distribution amplifier. This means it can handle
an extremely wide range of input signals and distribute to eight TVs with ease. Units can be
interconnected for larger installations.
The Model DA-8200HHR has three inputs, one from off-air antenna or CATV and two from ChannelPlus
5500 or other modulators. The DA-8200HHR is used with antenna applications for off-air digital and PAL signals.
The Channel Plus DA-8200 is also equipped with a built-in 5 volt IR engine. This allows any centrally
located video source with Infrared control to be operated from any TV location, by passing the IR signal
along the co-ax wiring. A Channel Plus 2133 IR 5 volt target is required.
By attaching the Channel Plus Model 2184 to the amplifier's power connector and up to four single IR emitters
or four twin IR emitters may be connected directly to the Channel Plus
Model 2184, to allow remote control of up to
eight pieces of AV equipment.
