Gefen RS232 active baluns (pair)

This RS232 active balun allows you to connect RS232 equipment such as touchscreens, computers, hard disc players, multi-room audio equipment, etc using Category 5e unshielded twisted pair cable in a point-to-point connection.

The baluns are supplied in pairs, and are powered by an included 5 volt power supply, which powers both units through its connection to the sender unit.

Transmissions work over distances of up to 300 metres.

Connections:

RS232 input: 9 pin D-sub female, RS232 output: 9 pin D-sub male,
RJ45 connector for twisted pair
