The Future Automation S-PA Sliding Panel Mechanism with plasma advance brings together a number of the Future Automation
mechanisms to give a sophisticated plasma disguising system.
Three electric motors on the S-PA retract a panel inward and then lift it up or down inside the wall, then finally move
your plasma out to fill the opening.
You can use a picture, traditional oak panelling or a wall with fabric covered panels as shown in these photos.
Both the plasma and the mechanism need to be recessed into the wall. The simplest way is to stud out the wall to a depth of 260mm
minimum for a plasma no deeper than 100mm. Note that the plasma is attached to the original brick wall, which should be strong
enough to support it when extended. This stud wall enclosure can also allow the installation of in-wall speakers and cabling etc.
The S-PA system is suitable for screens from 26" to 61". Each system is custom designed and fabricated
to match your plasma and its cable management requirements.
The electric lift operation is controlled by a control box that needs to be accessable. An IR sensor is
connected to this box by a 1500mm cable.
This control box is connected to the lift mechanism by a standard 4 core mains cable.
The system comes with a basic IR remote control. It also has switch control, so that it can be operated by relays, switches, Lutron, etc
