These HDMI leads are used for outputting true high-definition audio/video content from an HD DVD player, Blue Ray player, Media Center PC or AV receiver to an LCD or
plasma screen. They carry both video and audio signals and HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel
digital audio on a single cable

For sizes over 15 metres (normally considered the maximum length for HDMI leads)
Tech+Link wiresCR use a very high bandwidth V1.3 compatible construction and work in conjunction with Tech+Link's
Passive HDMI Repeater. This is fitted to the display end of the cable and is energised by the HDMI power rail to boost HDMI's VHF carrier signals.
The Tech+Link 20m (680220) and 30m (680230) leads offer full 1080p bandwidth and remain fully compliant with CEC control protocols.
The longer 50m (680250) type is guaranteed to 1080i/720p resolution and may achieve 1080p depending on source equipment.
For distances over 15 metres you may need to add a booster
or repeater depending on the strength of the signal at source.
