Canton are Germany's leading audio speaker producer and the world's fifth largest supplier.
The Canton Karat series of speakers provide pure sound and clean lines to suit contemporary decor. The Karat speakers embody transparent, straightforward,
high volume musical enjoyment. The Bauhaus-style design, along with the lacquer and "high gloss" finishes of the cabinets complete the look.
All the Karat range feature aluminium-manganese tweeter systems, mid-range speakers with wave sound technology and side firing woofers.
Front speaker options
The Karat 790DC is the heavy weight in this range in more ways than weight alone. With its 3 way plus tweeter speaker configuration the Karat 790DC
handles power outputs of 180 Watts per channel nominal with a maximum of 300 Watts. The frequency range range stretches from a superb 22Hz at the bass end up to
40,000 Hz at the top.
The Karat 770DC floorstanding speaker handles 140 watts, with a maximum of 200 watts. ALthough lighter that the 790DC at just 15kg compared to 26.5kg
for the 770DC the frequency range is still exceptional at 24Hz to 40,000Hz.
Centre speaker
The Karat 755 centre speaker provides clear dialogue in support of these exceptional speakers. Its distortion free
speech reproduction guarantees relaxed listening. The Karat 755 is a 2 way plus tweeter bass reflex system handling 85W nominal, 140W maximum.
Rear speakers/compact front speakers
Supporting the front speakers the Karat 720 compact speakers will completely imerse you in the audio experience on home cinema.
The Karat 720 can handle outputs of 60W nominal with a maximum of 100W. Its frequency response of 33Hz to 40,000 Hz will not disappoint.
Sub-woofers
The Karat AS750 SC outputs 200W with a maximums of 350W . Each of the Canton SC active subwoofers provide a
full, powerful bass foundation that gains level
stability and dynamic performance through
Canton’s own SC technology. This is of
particular benefit for films with special
effects.
