There are a number of interfaces and boosters for the Grafik Eye controllers depending on the equipment
you wish to control
Contact Closure Interface
(GRX-CCO)
The GRX-CCO-8 allows you to interface with devices operated by a physical contact closure such as
projector screens, powered curtains, security systems, etc. When a particular scene is selected on the Grafik Eye,
(directly or via a wall control or via remote control), this triggers the relay. It is particularly
suitable for home cinema set-ups with screens and blinds. This unit offers eight individual contact outputs.
The GRX-CCO-8 provides both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts, and may be set to momentary or maintained outputs. Motorised window treatment
channels may be set to have OPEN and CLOSE outputs or OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE outputs. This unit can be used in conjunction with a 12V power source and
12V trigger boxes normally used with screens and projector drops. If you do not need the physical contact closure, just the ability to send a low
voltage supply to a trigger then consider the GRX-AV AV interface, see below.
NB. This interface is designed to normally work with the GRX3500 series not the GRX3100 series. If you intend using it with the GRX3100 series please
state at time of ordering and we will have Lutron modify the coms in the Grafik Eye to make it compatable.

AV Interface
(GRX-AV)
The GRX-AV works in a very similar way to the Contact Closure Interface above. As with the GRX-CCO the GRX-AV allows you to interface with
devices operated by a contact closure, in the case of the GRX-AV five outputs. When a particular scene is selected on the Grafik Eye,
(directly or via a wall control or via remote control), this triggers a low voltage output that can be used to operate a relay - either to trigger a momentary
dry contact or to switch another load, eg 240V or 24V depending on the relay used.
The GRX-AV can also accept up to five contact inputs. These can be generated by PIR movement detectors or simple timers.

RS232
(GRX-RS232)
This integrates the Grafik Eye controller with your own PC or digital audio visual equipment.

Power Booster
(NGRX-PB)
Useful in situations where the load on a single circuit exceeds the maximum 800 Watts
of the Grafik Eye. The Power Booster is only suitable for incandescent, magnetic low voltage
and neon/cold cathode lighting. It allows you to connect lighting on that zone of up to 1200 Watts, or 1840
Watts if the surface mount box is used. The total maximum loading of the Grafik Eye may then be
distributed between the remaining zones. For example, the maximum loading is normally 2300 watts
(1600 watts for the GRX3102), with each circuit not to exceed 800 Watts. Adding a Power Booster
to a 4 zone GRX3104, allows one circuit to be 1200 Watts and the remaining circuits to be 800W,
800W and 700W, ie a total of 2300 Watts split between the three.
NB. This interface comes with its own 4 inch by 4 inch double gang back box.
Electronic Low Voltage Power Booster
(GRX-ELVI)
Suitable for electronic low voltage lighting, this increases a single zone maximum from 800 Watts
to 1000 Watts, in the same manner as the Power Booster above, ie allowing you to reallocate the
2300 watts maximum between the other zones
NB. This interface comes with its own 4 inch by 4 inch double gang back box.

Ballast Interface
(GRX-TVI)
When you switch on a fluorescent or energy saving light (Compact Fluorescent) a surge of current is required to start the light. This surge of current
can be many times the actual wattage of the fluorescent light itself. For this reason to control dimmable fluorescent lighting, where you do not want
to use the Grafik Integrale, it is necessary to use this ballast interface.
Synthetic Minimum Load (for LEDS)
(LUT-LBX)
LED lighting uses very little energy, hence its appeal in the home. Low power lighting however presents dimmers with difficulties because most
switching or dimming systems require a minimum load to operate. The Grafik Eye requires a minimum load of 40W per circuit to work. The Lutron
Synthetic Minimum Load provides this load allowing you to control lighting circuits no matter how small the load. This is a far more energy efficient
solution than using simple passive dummy loads, as the additional power consumption is never more than 10W.
You will require one LUT-LBX per circuit. If you have a number of circuits of LED lighting it may be more cost effective to consider the
Grafik Integrale, which can handle these very low loads without extra interfaces. NB. The Grafik Integrale is only availble in a 4 circuit version.
NB. This interface comes with its own 4 inch by 4 inch double gang back box.
