System 45 controls

System 45 is a beautiful modular range of momentary switches ideal for use wherever you require a momentary contact eg with the Beamax projector screens. The System 45 range also includes conventional switches, sockets, timers, and PIRs. The system also includes audio sockets and controls.

The modular construction allows you to select a mounting frame to suit the number of components and then use a screwless faceplate of the finish of your choice to match your decor

Frames

For switches and other components choose from 1, 2, 3 or 4 module frames. 1 and 2 module frames suit a single gang back box, 3 and 4 suit a double gang back box.

Faceplates

In faceplates we can offer:

  • Polished brass and satin brass in 1,2,3 and 4 module sizes
  • Satin nickel in 1 and 4 module sizes only
  • Polished chrome in 1 and 4 module sizes only
  • Plastic chrome and plastic silver (rounded corner style, see above right) in 2 module size only
  • Plastic white in 1, 2, 3 and 4 module sizes

For audio controls and speaker sockets, use a 1 module faceplate for a single pair of speaker sockets (WM09), a 2 module faceplate for a WM11 or wall mounted control, eg QED volume control, and a 4 module faceplate for two audio controls mounted together.

Switches/Dimmers

Rotary dimmers occupy a single module space in the frame for manually controlled dimming. These require a standard switch for turning on and off. All switches are available in white, black and ivory.

PIR movement switches

PIR movement sensors to switch lights and appliances up to 200W. These have an "on period" from 5 secs to 2.5 mins . They occupy a single module. Also available as a double module PIR, which switches on lights up to 500 Watts

 

Audio Controls and Sockets

These are the QED range of audio sockets and controls, including volume controls, 2 way speaker switching, 2 sources into one pair of speakers and so on, allowing you to construct a simple multiroom audio system.
