Ulti wireless mood lighting

Ulti from Schneider Electric is a high quality lighting control system designed to give you 'mood' lighting, without going through the process of rewiring your electrics; this makes it ideal for upgrading your existing rooms.

The Ulti system is an upgraded version of the previous Clipsal Ulti and is supplied as separate faceplate and base dimming module. This revision also brings a reduction of the depth of the back box required from the previous 35mm to a normal 25mm deep UK style of box. This makes Ulti even quicker and easier to install, replacing existing light switches (no neutral wire required) to offer touch dimmer control on one or two fixed lighting circuits, eg a pendant light and wall lights. Additionally it also allows you to control a freestanding lamp as part of your lighting arrangement.

The dimmers, scene setters and switches are finished to a very high quality and come in a variety of surface finishes shown above, from left to right:

• Pearl White
• Crystal Glass
• Brushed Silver
• Champagne Gold

Ulti works by using RF (Radio Frequency) signalling, meaning that you can use the remote control to control your lighting from anywhere. The key element in the system is the Ulti switch or dimmer that in addition to manual control has a built-in RF receiver. To this you can add an RF remote control or a 'freelocate' scene setter that is battery powered and may be fixed to the wall anywhere in range allowing you to change lighting scenes at the touch of a button. Where longer range control is required an Ulti RF Repeater may be used. Ulti works on 434MHz radio frequency.

The system can be expanded by adding more lights, switches and dimmers as your requirements expand.

Ulti Non lighting components

The introduction of Ulti also expands the range of accessory items to match your Ulti dimmers and switches. These include 13A electrical sockets, phone and data outlets and TV outlets. For the full range click here.

• 1 gang 600 Watt dimmer (with built-in RF receiver)
• 2 gang 2 X 300 Watt dimmer (with built-in RF receiver)
• 1 gang 10 Amp switch (with built-in RF receiver)
• 2 gang 2 x 5 Amp switch (with built-in RF receiver)
• 2 key 2 scene freelocate scene setter (with built-in RF transmitter)
• 6 key 5 scene freelocate scene setter (with built-in RF transmitter)
• 5 scene RF remote control
• 400 Watt lamp dimmer set (with plug-in dimmer which fits in-line and a separate 2 button white remote)

NB: Although Ulti comes as separate base module and faceplate, we present them here as complete units to simplify the ordering process. If you wish to purchase individual components please call us.

Installation Tip: Ulti dimmers and switches require a 35mm deep back box. If this is not possible, then use the mounting spacers provided with the Ulti dimmers and switches to add the extra depth
