Projector Drop - (PD1) for home cinema projectors up to 570mm x 570mm x 180mm
The PD1 allows projectors as tall as 180mm to be stored in a ceiling void of only 210mm and then lowered on command. A panel is mounted under the projector, which fills
the hole in the ceiling when the projector is up. The unit is installed like a ceiling speaker – cut a hole in the plaster and then a lip around the edge of the mechanism covers the cut line.
The mechanism can be adjusted so the projector angles downwards when at the bottom.
The electric drop operation is controlled by a control box that needs to be accessible. An IR sensor is connected to this box by a 1500mm cable.
This control box can also be used to operate projector screens using the standard 4 core mains cable, eg Beamax M series.
The system comes with a basic IR remote control. It also has switch control, so that it can be operated by relays, switches, Lutron, etc

Projector Drop - (PD2) for home cinema projectors up to 620mm x 620mm x 190mm
Identical in all respects to the PD1 the PD2 fits medium size projectors.
Projector Drop - (PD3) for home cinema projectors up to 800mm x 800mm x 235mm
Identical in all respects to the PD1 the PD3 fits large size projectors.
Projector Drop - Junior - (PDJ) for very small projectors
The Future Automation PDJ allows very small projectors to be lowered electrically. Specially designed to fit between ceiling joists with a gap of only 305mm. As with the PD1 above, a
panel is mounted under the projector, which fills the hole in the ceiling when the projector is up.

NB: This drop is only suitable for very small projectors such as portable business projectors. For home cinema use to our knowledge on the
