The Russound HTP-1 (above) and HTP-2 (shown right) provide the finishing touch
to home cinema speaker connections. The HTP-1 covers Dolby 5.1 and 6.1 home cinema set-up arrangements. HTP-2 extends this to 7.1.
The gold-plated colour coded binding posts accept
up to 6AWG wire, or 4mm banana plugs. Connections are made for: front left & right; rear left and right
(Dolby 5.1); front centre, and rear centre (Dolby 6.1), and with HTP-2 back surround left & right (Dolby 7.1).
In addition two gold-plated RCA sockets are provided for two
active sub-woofers.
NB: The rear connections on both phono sockets for cabling to the amplifier
sub-woofer output are 'F' type, as used with TV distribution amplifiers
see here, and require the use of co-ax cable.
Dimensions: 123mm square.
NB: All of the home cinema wall plates shown on this page require a US style double gang back box or "P-ring".
If the Russound HTP-1 or HTP-2 home cinema plates do not meet your particular configuration, we can also offer an identical sized alternative shown right,
covering every possible home cinema set-up - effectively an 8.3 arrangement!
The 8 pairs of gold-plated colour coded binding posts accept
up to 6AWG wire, or 4mm US banana plugs (nb US banana plugs are shorter than UK plugs. UK plugs
will not fully fit in these sockets). Connections are made for: front left & right; mid left and right (Dolby 7.1); rear left and right
(Dolby 5.1); front centre, and rear centre (Dolby 6.1), with two powered sub-woofer connections and one passive sub-woofer connection.
Please phone for details if you require this latter plate.
