The Rako WK-MOD is a Wired Modular wall plate controller that connects to the RAKOM wired CAT5 network.  Available in nine preconfigured button layouts.

The WK-MOD-xxx-x uses three different button sizes across a range of keypad layouts. This offers a truly flexible range of designs to suit all your lighting control requirements including: Curtain, Blind, Audio, Multi and Single Room layouts. You can choose your layout from the dropdown option. You will also need to specify your buttons are available in Black or White. This page has the Black button option.

The wired Modular control module is programmable via Rako’s Rasoft Pro software.  Each input is fully customisable and can be addressed to separate Rako Rooms or Channels and activate on press or release, giving a ‘Press and Hold’ function. Additionally each input can trigger an internal macro function.

The WK-MOD-xxx hard wired push button control module can accommodate up to 12 backlit push buttons. Standard button configurations are shown on the PDF document in our additional information tab, with their corresponding part numbers.

The WK-MOD-xxx controller has Laser etched buttons that are backlit with fully programmable blue LEDs. Designed for use with standard UK single gang back box. Easy connection to the Rako wired CAT5 network is by a removable 8 way Krone punch down module. This can be installed at first fix stage prior to the push button front control module. This protects the control module from being damaged while building works are being finished.

A WK-HUB and Rasoft Pro programming software is required for setup and configuration of the WK-MOD-xxx-x. Once addressed it is possible to control any Room/Channel in the system, sending commands to each including:
– Scene selection
– Scene toggle
– Level toggle
– Room/Channel raise & lower
– Macro start/stop/control
– House Master controls

The Cover Plate surrounds for the WK Modular range need to be purchased separately. All of the Cover Plate surrounds are hand finished metal, available in a number of finishes.

WK-MOD control modules are designed to be flush mounted to standard UK single gang back boxes.

How To Customise Your Buttons

Custom engraving can be ordered for Modular keypads. There isn’t a specific character limit (for Modular or EOS keypads) but a text box/engraving area instead, as Rako have found that this gives users more flexibility rather than a fixed number of characters.

The text is centre justified (left to right) and appears at the top of the small and medium sizes buttons and centre justified left to right and top to bottom for the large button size.  Only a single line of text can be etched on to each button.

Due to the design and ‘construction’ of the Modular keypad, custom engraved buttons need to be ordered at the point in which the WK-MOD or RK-MODs (the electronics) are ordered so that the keypads can be supplied with the custom engraved buttons fitted – the buttons cannot we swapped out onsite.
