This HDTV component video and stereo/digital audio splitter (distribution amplifier) takes a single Component Video source (with audio) and splits it to five displays. Each video output is a
perfect copy of the input, because all video and audio lines are buffered.
Superior to simple splitters, which merely share the signal between your destinations and subsequently reduce the picture brightness and quality, the KDA
regenerates the input video, restoring correct levels for distribution to your two displays. This maintains the brightness of the picture, and also helps to isolate both displays.
The load on one will not affect the other.
The unit can be used with standard component video and High Definition HDTV component video. It supports HDTV resolutions of 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p.
This component video splitter can handle both analogue stereo audio, using the red and white - right and left RCA phono connectors, or digital audio using
one of the video phono connectors (eg yellow RCA phono).
For sending the component video and digital audio output around your house consider using the MuxLab component video/digital audio baluns.
These allow you to use standard Cat5e cable terminated with RJ45 plugs or data outlets plus patch leads.
