The Russound S118W is a single gang 1J US Style plastic back box. It is used for plasterboard/stud wall installations with flip out securing arms. The S118-W US Style back box can also be used with cavity/solid walls you would need to secure in place with expanding polyurethane foam.

This, US Style 2 Gang plastic back box from Pass and Seymour is available in the UK. This 2J back box has nails for a plasterboard installation and is not suitable for solid wall installs. The nails are already positioned on the plastic back box for easy and quick installation in to wooden stud framework.

The CyberSelect LaunchPort Wall Box has been designed to assist with the installation of the launch port wall station into solid or stud walls. The box can be installed at first fix stage either with ducting to allow cables to be added later or with a two core power cable or Cat5/6 cable doubled up for power from a centrally located transformer. This US style 1 Gang metal back box (“J Box”) comes as a flat pack for easy self assembly. It is zinc plated and is 48 mm deep. Also available in Double and Triple 48 mm & 67 mm depths. The US style 1 Gang metal back box (“J Box”) is suitable for recessed masonry installations.

The snap-in modules have colour coded IDC terminals and are wired using a standard UTP cable.
This US style metal back box (“J Box”) from Lutron is zinc plated and suits all products requiring a US single gang ‘J’ box with an internal depth no greater than 60mm. Maximum external dimensions are: 50mm x 96mm x 65mm (W x H x D). Internal dimensions 46mm x 88mm x 60mm.
