The external measurements of the face plate is 85 mm x 85 mm. The internal snap in module size is 50 mm x 50 mm
This, US Style 2 Gang plastic back box from Pass and Seymour is available in the UK. This 2J back box has nails for a plasterboard installation and is not suitable for solid wall installs. The nails are already positioned on the plastic back box for easy and quick installation in to wooden stud framework.
The CyberSelect LaunchPort Wall Box has been designed to assist with the installation of the launch port wall station into solid or stud walls. The box can be installed at first fix stage either with ducting to allow cables to be added later or with a two core power cable or Cat5/6 cable doubled up for power from a centrally located transformer. This US style 3 Gang metal back box (“J Box”) comes as a flat pack for easy self assembly. It is zinc plated and is 48mm deep. Also available in 67mm depth. The US style 3 Gang metal back box (“J Box”) is suitable for recessed masonry installations.
The US style flat pack metal back boxes, are available in 48 mm and 67 mm also they are available in 1J, single gang, 2J, double gang and 3J Triple.
A Triple Gang White Decora Faceplate to fit US style Back Boxes / J Boxes
The SWP-2-SS is a Double Gang, Stainless, Screwless Wall Plate with a Black back plate for use with US style and Decora products. It has soft rounded corners and comes in two parts. The black back plate is attached to the recessed back box, the stylish stainless steel face plate is attached to the front. Using the SWP-2-SS from Lutron without screws on the front plate gives a very clean and neat finish.
The face plate fits the standard single gang US style back boxes, S232-W & S2-35-RAC
Leviton 42777-2WB US style double gang surface mount back box (J box) available in 37 mm depth. These US Style surface mount back boxes are available in single and double gang, with options of 37 mm or 48 mm depth.

The Russound S118W is a single gang 1J US Style plastic back box. It is used for plasterboard/stud wall installations with flip out securing arms. The S118-W US Style back box can also be used with cavity/solid walls you would need to secure in place with expanding polyurethane foam.
